Welcome to the International Institute of California (IICUS). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, www.iicus.com, and services. By accessing our website or submitting a credential evaluation request, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.

2. Services Provided

IICUS provides academic credential evaluations for individuals with international education seeking to study, work, or immigrate to the United States. Their services include:

•Course-by-Course Evaluations

•Summary Evaluations

•(Optional) Translation Services

Our advisory evaluations represent our best professional judgment based on the available documentation and current U.S. academic standards.

3. Eligibility

To access our services, you must:

•    Be at least 18 years of age

•    Submit complete and accurate documentation

•    Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

Minors must have evaluations submitted by a parent or legal guardian.

4. Application Process

All evaluations require:

•    Completed application form (online or PDF)

•    Legible copies of your academic documents (transcripts, diplomas, translations) are required.

•    Payment in full before services begin

Delays may occur if documents are incomplete, unclear, or not translated into English.

5. Fees & Payments

All fees are listed on our website and must be paid in full before your evaluation. Please note that all payments are final.

Refund Policy:

We do not offer refunds once the evaluation process has begun. However, if you cancel your application before we start the evaluation, a partial refund, minus a $35 administrative fee, may be considered.

6. Delivery Times

Standard processing times range from 21 days once all required documents are received and payment is confirmed.

Rush services may be available upon request for an additional fee. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity or nature of the document.

7. Use of Evaluations

Our evaluations are intended solely for:

•    U.S. college or university applications

•    Employment verification

•    U.S. immigration and visa purposes

•    Professional Licensure

IICUS is not responsible for how a third party (e.g., school, employer, USCIS) uses or interprets your evaluation. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on IICUS.com, including text, design, logos, and downloadable materials, is the property of IICUS and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

 

9. User Conduct

By using our website or applying, you agree to the following prohibitions:

•    Submit false, misleading, or forged documents

•    Interfere with site functionality or access

•    Use our materials or evaluations for unlawful purposes

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services if we have reason to suspect fraud or abuse.

10. Liability Limitations

IICUS strives to provide accurate evaluations based on the submitted documents. However, we cannot guarantee acceptance by any specific institution, employer, or agency.

IICUS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our evaluations or website.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, accompanied by a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after these changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, irrespective of its conflict of laws and principles.
